
If you’re looking for a bold, flavor-packed meal that’s quick to prepare but tastes like a gourmet masterpiece, this Pan-Fried Lamb Chops with Bell Pepper Sauce is just what your dinner table needs. With the richness of lamb and the freshness of peppers, onions, herbs, and a hint of heat,this recipe delivers a balanced bite every time.
My Ingredients:
5 lamb chops
½ green bell pepper
½ red bell pepper
2 fresh cayenne peppers
1 habanero pepper (optional for extra heat)
3 medium onions
5 garlic cloves
Handful of fresh cilantro
5 basil leaves
Seasonings: salt, black pepper, 1 tsp mixed herbs, Maggi to taste
Oils: olive oil & peanut oil

Instructions
1. Season the Lamb
Rub the lamb chops with salt, black pepper, and mixed herbs. Let it marinate while you prep the sauce.
2. Chop the Veggies
Finely chop all the peppers, onions, garlic, cilantro, and basil.
3. Pan-Fry the Lamb
Heat a pan with peanut oil. Slowly pan-fry the seasoned lamb chops on both sides until golden brown and cooked through.Remove and set aside.
4. Make the Sauce
In the same pan, sauté the chopped onion and garlic for 3–5 minutes. Add all the chopped peppers and stir-fry for about 4 minutes. Add 1 tsp of garlic & ginger paste, Maggi, and salt. Stir for another minute.


5. Combine & Finish
Add in your chopped herbs (cilantro and basil). Maggie and salt to taste. Mix everything well and return the lamb chops to the pan. Cover and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.

Serve With:
This dish pairs perfectly with rice, roasted potatoes, or even grilled veggies for a light option or dodo( ribe plantain)
